Tips for your warm-up
- New domains need the most patience. Expect 4-8 weeks before reaching full volume.
- Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC before sending any emails. This is non-negotiable.
- Cold outreach requires the slowest ramp-up. Recipients don't expect your emails, so spam complaints are higher.
- Keep your bounce rate below 1% and spam complaint rate below 0.1% at all times.
- Google Workspace has a hard limit of 2,000 emails/day. For higher volumes, use a dedicated SMTP provider.
- Monitor your health score daily during warm-up. If it drops below 80, pause and investigate.
- Send during business hours (9am-5pm recipient timezone) with randomized timing for natural patterns.
